Angel By MySide, NFP was envisioned in 2003 as the result of witnessing the challenges and obstacles faced by displaced children as well as their relative caregivers as the result of a tragedy or special circumstance when the parent could no longer provide care. We saw a need for more tailored programs and ongoing support long term not only to the children, but also to their kinship caregivers who have embraced this responsibility to preserve the family unit.
Angel By MySide is an up and coming 501c3 organization committed to strengthening and empowering kinship families by providing ongoing support to kinship caregivers who have embraced the overwhelming responsibility of caring for a relative child when the parent no longer can.
We believe that assisting these families in obtaining vital resources, services, support and encouragement will make a difference in many of their lives.
