Energetic Outgoing and Committed volunteers passionate about our cause to strengthen and empower kinship families.
Fundraising and Special Event Volunteers: Assistance in organizing and executing fundraising and special events from beginning to end, including but not limited to raffles, bowling, silent auctions and other great fundraising ideas you bring to the table. Party planners, college interns and retirees strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills: Attention to detail, energetic, outgoing and previous party planning or fundraising experience a plus.
Time Commitment: Approximately 4 - 6 hours per month

Technical & Web Support Volunteer: Update website with current events, announcements, and photo gallery postings as well as building an Access database program for survey tracking, grants and other not for profit generated reports. College interns strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills: Website design and maintenance experience as well as various database managements systems.
Time Commitment: Approximately 6-8 hours per month

Administrative/Clerical Volunteer: Assistance with clerical duties including donor acknowledgement letters, marketing mailings, follow up calls and researching grant opportunities within the scope of our mission. College interns strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills: Exceptional eye for detail as well as wrritten and verbal communication skills. In addition, strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
Time Commitment: Approximately 6 hours per month

Youth Activities Volunteer: Facilitate and assist with children's activities such as interactive motivational sessions fostering self esteem and leadersip skills for youth between the ages of 13-18 as well as creative arts workshops including drawing and creative writing. Educators, coaches, corporate professionals and college interns strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills: The strong desire to help children succeed by developing leadership skills and talents for their future career path. Must be patient and comfortable comunicating with at risk youth in a group setting.
Time Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per month

Life Skills Instructor: Life skills training for kinship caregivers in areas such as parenting, finances and job services for those re-entering the workplace. Educators, coaches, corporate professionals and social workers strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills: The strong desire to help kinship caregivers by providing the necessary tools and resources to assist in carrying out their mission to care for a relative's child. Educators, coaches, corporate professionals and social workers strongly encouraged to apply.
